Edited

Creating a student account and enrolling in your course allow you to access your course materials, participate in class activities, and track your progress in Summations. With your account, you'll have everything you need to stay connected and succeed in your courses.

Manually Creating a Student Account

Go to "www.summations.com" and click on "Get started today".

Select your role as 'Student.'

Grab the join code shared by your instructor from either the syllabus or the Student Join Instruction document. If you cannot find this code, please ask your instructor or reach out to our support team at support@summations.com.

Enter this join code in the text field and click 'Check code.'

The course name and instructor name associated with your join code will appear. Once you confirm that this is the right course, click 'Continue'.

Fill out the required information and click 'Register.'

Make sure you have entered the correct student ID issued by your institution, as this information will be used by your instructor during the submissions and grading process.

You will receive a verification code in your inbox that looks like this.

Copy the verification code from your inbox.

Enter the verification code and click 'Verify OTP.'

You now have access to your Student Dashboard and your course.

Invitation from your Instructor

If you were invited to join Summations by your instructor, you will receive an email titled 'Your professor has invited you to Summations!' in your university inbox.

Follow the instructions in the email and click the button to join the course.

If you already have a Summations account, log in to continue. If you do not have an account, click 'Register' to create one and proceed.

After registering for or logging into a Summations student account, accept the course invitation by clicking 'Accept.'

You now have access to the course as a student.
